Congrats to our winning NKKP grant applications!

We've got funded in all three categories, congrats to Ricsi, Luca and Dani, the 3 winners from our Institute!

We recently won 3 major research grants in 3 different categories within the new framework of the National Research Excellence Program 2024 (Nemzeti Kutatási Kiválósági Program - NKKP), launched by the National Research, Development and Innovation Office (NKFIH, in Hungarian).

STARTING grant winner: Dr. Richárd Fiáth, title: Talamokortikális dinamika altatásban: altatószerek hatására kialakuló agyi állapotok sejt- és hálózati szintű mechanizmusainak vizsgálata. (98.4M huf/4 years)
ADVANCED grant winner: Dr. Lucia Wittner, title: Humán indukált őssejt eredető neurális progenitorok humán organotipikus tenyészetben való túlélésének, differenciálódásának és beépülésének vizsgálata. (120M huf/4 years)
EXCELLENCE grant winner (our collaborator from the KPI Institute): Dr. Dániel Hillier, title: MesoBrain: Molekuláris és sejtáramköri útvonalak a kognitív funkciókhoz magasabb rendű emlősökben. (150M huf/1 year)
