We are delighted to share the news that our colleague, Csaba Köllőd, has passed his PhD viva on "Development of Brain-Computer Interfaces by using Deep Learning Technologies" on January 12, 2024. Csabi's research aimed to use cutting-edge deep learning techniques to create and improve brain-computer interfaces (BCIs), which are devices that allow direct interaction between the brain and external systems. Csabi's work has helped to advance the field of BCIs and has possible applications in various domains, such as healthcare. Csabi impressed the examiners with his originality, rigor and quality of his research, as well as with his outstanding presentation and defence skills. We congratulate Csabi on this accomplishment.
